Notice
The OPSC is no longer accepting Lease-Purchase Program applications because the program has exhausted all its funds. The last statewide General Obligation Bond, Proposition 55, did not include funds for this program.

The School Facility Program (SFP), created by Senate Bill 50, was funded and currently provides funds for new construction and modernization of K-12 school facilities.

Joint Use - EC Section 17052 (SB 1795)
The 2003-2004 funding cycle for the Lease-Purchase Joint-Use Program has been completed with 35 of the 37 submitted projects being funded at the August 4, 2004 State Allocation Board (SAB) meeting.

Since the funding source for this program is currently exhausted, the SAB also authorized the OPSC to advise school districts that it would not be accepting anymore applications. Joint-use projects can still be submitted under the School Facility Program's Joint-Use Program in the coming year. The current deadline to apply for July 2005 funding is May 31, 2005.
