SFP: Financial Hardship

General Information
Financial Hardship assistance is available for those districts that cannot provide all or part of their share of a School Facility Project. Education Code Section 17075.10 and California Code of Regulations Section 1859.81 require a district to have made all reasonable efforts to impose all levels of local debt capacity and development fees prior to requesting financial assistance. This page contains the information regarding the current financial hardship approval process.

The information listed below is provided to assist districts in determining eligibility for Financial Hardship assistance and in compiling the documentation necessary to submit a complete Financial Hardship Application.
